LAMBERTUS C. BOBBINK, of Rutherford, N. J., was born in Holland on the 11th of April, 1866, being the son of Jacob and Wilhelmina (Gemmenk) Bobbink. His parents were natives of Holland, where they were married.

Mr. Bobbink received his education in the schools of his native country. He came to the United States in 1894 and settled in Rutherford, N. J., where he still resides. Before coming to America he was successfully engaged in the florist business for three years in Holland, an equal number of years in England, two years in France, three years in Germany, and one year in Belgium, thus gaining a large and valuable experience. He now carries on the florist and nursery business on a large scale, under the firm name of Bobbink & Atkins, in Rutherford.

He is a member of the American Florists' Union and of the New York Florists' Union, and served for a year and a half in the army of Holland.

In 1897 Mr. Bobbink married Gertrude Schmidt, of Hoboken, N. J. They have one child, Bertie.
