PETER BENTLEY, Third, eldest son of Peter Bentley, Second, and Emma (Parker) Bentley, was born in Jersey City on the 6th of February, 1874. He pursued his studies at Princeton College for a time and subsequently with Warren Dixon. He was admitted to the bar of New Jersey before the Supreme Court November 27, 1895, and since then has been actively and successfully engaged in the practice of his profession in Jersey City. Mr. Bentley has displayed marked legal qualifications, and though a young man has already gained distinction as a lawyer and advocate. He is prominently identified with public affairs and respected and esteemed by all who know him.
