ALLITERATION ALLEY
A PERFORMANCE NIGHT IN JERSEY CITY
Join Art House Productions and
NJ poets Jack DeLuca Gross and Roberta L. Greening for the initial
Alliteration Alley Performance Night in Jersey City, NJ.
PLACE: Victory Hall, 186 Grand Street.
(Four Blocks From the Grove Street Path Station)
TIME: February 7th at 8PM. (First and Third Thursdays of each Month. Next event will be February 21st at 8PM)
DETAILS: $3 Admission. Refreshments will be available. Monologues, Solo Musicians, Improvisation, Skits and Sketches Welcome. This is a Performance Night.
POETS: Jack DeLuca Gross, founder of the Traveling Ark Poetry Showkase, performs throughout New Jersey and New York. He is active in bringing the spoken word to seniors, students and the bedridden. His style and content are unique in their passion and tenderness. We like to think of Jack as the "Walt Whitman of Rochelle Park."
Roberta L. Greening is the President of the Bergen Poets. She performs throughout the state in venues small and large. Her poetry humanizes the struggles and battles we all confront. It is a battle Roberta has won, and now shows others how to face. As a poet and a person, Roberta is truly comfortable in her own skin.
OPEN MIKE: Follows featured readers. Sign-up sheet will be posted at the beginning of the Performance Night. Each Performer gets five minutes. Performances should be over by 10:30PM.
