: Don’t fret the ending of  “Friends” – “Personals” is here! “Personals” is a sassy, charming, entertaining musical comedy about the dating scene by the creators of the TV hit “Friends” with music by Stephen Schwartz (“Wicked,” “Godspell”) and Alan Menken (“Little Shop of Horrors,” “Beauty and the Beast”) among others and direction and musical direction by Adi Zisman.

: And The Hudson Theatre Ensemble is holding a contest for the funniest, most romantic, or most exciting story of how you became a couple through the PERSONALS.  The first prize written entry wins 2 free tickets to the Hudson Theatre Ensemble’s production of “Personals” and a fabulous, romantic dinner for two at Hoboken’s Deno’s, the wonderful, old-world charm Italian restaurant!  The second and third prize entries win two free tickets to “Personals!”   So if you have ever fallen in love, are still in the process of falling in love, or have yet to fall in love and tried to do all this through a personal ad, then write and tell us your personals story at personals@fpls.com  

:  The Hudson Theatre Ensemble, a professional community theatre, is now in its fourth season and resides in a beautiful new theater in Hoboken, NJ.   Plays produced in past seasons included  the musical comedy “Company” (musically directed by our Adi Zisman),  “Steel Magnolias,” “12 Angry Men,” “Picasso at the Lapin Agile,” “The Real Inspector Hound” and many others and have earned the ensemble much acclaim.  In fact, Ahn Behren of The Waterfront Journal and Jersey Journal said of “Company,” “Adi Zisman’s musical direction makes “Company” spin” … “the Hudson Theatre Ensemble proves you don’t have to go all the way to Broadway or pay astronomical prices to see a great musical. : “Personals” will be performed at The Hudson School Performance Space at 601 Park Avenue in Hoboken, NJ on Friday June 4 and 11 at 8PM, Saturday June 5 and 12 at 8PM, and Sunday June 6 and 13 at 7PM.
