Our band was asked to come play there last night so we dragged all our equipment there and set up. 10 minutes into our set the old manager decided he wanted to have the DJ play top 40 hits instead so he pulled the plug. Most of the people in the bar left when this happened. As we were putting away our instruments and trying leaving the place, the manager attempted to assault our bass player and had his whole army of bald bouncers push us around. They even yelled some idiotic rascist remarks that I won't even repeat here.
If you are in a band or even just a bar-going patron I strongly suggest you to NEVER step foot in this crappy bar. The staff are unfriendly bigots without an ounce of musical knowledge or taste.
We'll be playing the Elbow Room in NYC twice this coming month....where the owners have an open mind!
