Now that the elections are over and we have a new Mayor,
I hope he will take into consideration all of Jersey City's
people and not just those that supported him. He is the
Mayor of all Jersey City residents, each with various
concerns and needs. Specifically, the property taxes
are an exhorbitant burden on homeowners. They must be
reduced.
For years I've heard how Republicans want to lower taxes.
Well, 8 years of republican rule has done nothing to eliviate
our high taxes.
Hopefully, our new mayor will look out for all of his
constituents.
