: Dear Tim,

: I came across your message while searching for leads to the whereabouts of former engineers, firemen and conductors who ran trains in and out of the Jersey City Terminal.

: I was fascinated to learn from you that "the CNJ was largely a family business with strong generational employment." I didn't know that. Seeing as you appear to have knowledge of the Railroad's history I am wondering if you could point me to any social associations or groups to which these employees may belong or any individual train crew retirees you may know who worked for the CNJ. In Virginia, ex-Norfolk & Western employees gather frequently at the Virginia Museum of Transportation so I am told by a museum research officer there.

: Could give me any leads? I'd be happy to tell you what the project is in relation to this request. Feel free to call me if you like.

: Regards,

: Doug
