Bob Lucas, who grew up in Jersey City, recently passed away. He died at the age of 67 due to cancer. He had worked himself up from the streets of Jersey City to becoming a Commanding Officer of the USS Nassau. He received many awards while in the navy. He loved Jersey City, and it was always home for him. I am sure there are still some classmates or neighbors who remember him. He grew up on Ogden Ave. and Resevoir Ave.
