Even with the constant noise, dust, trash and dirt from all of the construction (and construction workers)in our neighborhood, we have to battle with temporary parking permits awarded to these non-residents. I had to park near Van Vorhst park last week (which as you may be aware is quite a walk). I realize the construction must continue, however, what do we do about being able to park within walking distance of our purchased property. Yes, purchased, meaning not only do I have a right to park here, I pay taxes in Jersey City. What do we do about the trash being thrown all over the street (Morris Street)by construction workers at lunch? What do we do about the conditions of our roads from all of the trucks considering there are pot holes capable of swallowing a car? Please help.
