Dogs on leashes are allowed in Liberty State Park.
The Statue of Liberty is reached from Liberty State Park by a ferry. There is a parking lot adjacent to the ferry slip.
Dogs are NOT allowed on the ferry or on Liberty Island. It would not be a good idea to leave the dog alone in the car -- particularly in the hot weather.
: We will be visiting the park in late September. Are pets allowed in the park? Can you see the Statue of Liberty from the park? I will have an elderly couple with me. Is there a lot of walking involved to see the Statue ?
: Thanks for your help
