: Thanks T. Pike for your message re: safety. I have forgetten to ask whether street or off-street parking is available on Essex & Warren Sts. & also around St. Anthony of Padua on Sixth Street?

: Thanks again,

: Kevin

On-street, non-resident parking, is limited to 2 hours. This is strictly enforced. Also, on-street parking is very limited.

An option is to park at the Light Rail parking Lot at Liberty State Park on Johnston Avenue.

If you are coming in on the Turnpike, take NJ Turnpike Exit 14C (GRAND-MONTGOMERY), as soon as you get off the exit ramp, make the first right. You then immediately make a left onto Merseles Street. You go two blocks up Merseles and then make a right onto Pacific Avenue. After several blocks on Pacific, make a left onto Johnston Avenue. (At this point, watch for the signs for Liberty State Park.) The Light Rail Parking lot is a few blocks on the right.

The Light Rail has a stop on Essex Street. You could walk from that area to Saint Anthony's or use the local buses.

Enjoy your visit to Jersey City!
