My husband and I are interested in hosting a birthday/picnic party in honor of my grandson, Carlton, who will turn on August 9. I was wondering if a permit is required for this type of event. We are interested in cooking on a BBQ grill and inviting approximately 35-40 of our relatives and close friends on either a Saturday or Sunday close to the baby date of birth.
