To me, that's still part of the Westside neighborhood. You could also say that that's the Route 440 area.
Downtown Jersey City is basically between the Hudson River on the East, Hoboken on the North and Jersey City's Grand Street on the South. City Hall, Hamilton Park, Van Vorst Park and the Holland Tunnel are all Downtown.
: I just moved to Mallory right near Pollock avenue (as far south from Communipaw as you can go) and can't seem to find out the name of my area/neighborhood. Am I downtown? I'm right near Rte. 440 and the Hudson strip mall.
