How do I go about getting a license for my dog?

In accordance to State Statutes and City Ordinance, every dog owner must license and/or renew their dog's license on a yearly basis, which starts on February 1 and expires on January 31 of every year. This means that all dog licenses that were purchased prior to February 1, 2002 have expired.

  • Bring a copy of your dog's rabies shot certificate -- must be current!

  • Proof of your dog being altered (if you are applying for that status).

License Fee:
An Altered Dog (Must provide proof) .................. $6.70
A Non-Altered Dog .................. $9.70
