: I am looking for any information concerning my father, Dr. Richard Good, his twin brother, Dr. Charles Good (both born 1902, Jersey City, N.J.) or my grandfather, Dr. George Good, also born in Jersey City (date unknown). They resided for many years at 949 Park Ave., Jersey City, N.J. Any information whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. Back in the sixties, a number of people in my family were patients of a Dr. Good. If memory serves me correctly, his office was in Union City, not Jersey City. There's a Park Avenue in North Hudson, but not in Jersey City. There is a Park Street in Jersey City; that's just a single block or so behind Lincoln High School. My mother was a nurse. I remember when I was a child how she and many others often told tales of nearly miraculous cures effected by Dr. Good -- often after a series of other physicians could not provide a diagnosis. Dr. Good was renowned for just glancing at a problem, taking a book down from his shelf, and opening to a particular page. He'd then hand the book to the patient so that they could get some idea of the problem. While the patient was reading, Dr. Good would write out a prescription that would quickly end the trouble. The Dr. Good that my family saw specialized in Dermatology.
