: : : : My aunt Joan Monstery looking for childhood friends Joan Eckelson & Shirley Saunders. : : : : : Thanks for replying to my e-mail! Joan Monstery (now Kuss) lost touch with school friends Joan and Shirley and would love to be able to contact (either or both of) them again. I told her I'd see if I could find any info on them for her. Aunt Joan was born in Jersey City in 1935 and has lived in Maywood (where her oldest son was mayor a year or so ago), since her marriage in 1964, has 3 children and 2 grandchildren (but no computer!). Any info would be appreciated. It would be neat if I could tell her I "found" her missing friend for her. Thanks. : : Diane Hayes : I BELIEVE I AM YOUR AUNT JOAN'S FRIEND. LET ME KNOW WHERE SHE WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL AND WHERE SHE LIVED & WHAT WE LOVED TO DO WHEN WE WERE TEENS. I HOPE TO HERE FROM YOU SOON. WHAT A CHRISTMAS PRESENT THIS WOULD BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU, JOAN Boy, the pressure! Aunt Joan is my mom's sister (one of 6 girls). I know the family moved alot but always lived in Jersey City (before the "girls" got married and started moving out of town). But I think they lived on St. Paul's Ave., Zabriskie St., Hopkins Av. (I think Aunt Joan was born on Griffith St.). She would have gone to Dickinson. I know she roller skated with a friend (I remember seeing a picture, and I think it was her friend Joan in the picture with her). After high school, she worked for the phone company, even lived with my family on New York Ave. for awhile when I was a child. I'd love to be able to tell her I "found" her missing friend - she told me she'd love to re-connect. If you'd like, you can call me. (I live in Beachwood, N.J. - will give you my number.) Are you still in N.J.? Do you have any info on Shirley? Looking forward to hearing more!
