With that attitude, we might as well not run candidates anywhere in Hudson County.

Despite what Jose says, Joe Doria was in fact vulnerable in 2004. Bush had more support in the 31st District than elsewhere in Hudson County, and we had independents dividing the Democratic vote! How did our party chairman respond to this rare opportunity? He not only failed to run a candidate of his own, he actually endorsed the HCDO candidate. You have to question whose side he’s really on.
