An amazing thing happened on the way to the ballot box last year. Jersey City found itself lost in the woods and forgotten by the political infrastructure of New Jersey.

So today, the supposed Power Center of JC...Mayor Healy, doesn't even show up on the Power Lists's top 100. In fact former Mayor Schundler is there, .... even disgraced former Senator Torricelli is there. But Good ole tipsy Mayor Healy is absent and unaccounted for. Just like our influence in Trenton...AWOL.

More than anything else, this shows a lack of political capital in the Mayor's Office. And that deficiency sits on the desk of his lackluster Chief of Staff .... as so many have come to call him....Clueless Carl.

But then it is really the Mayor who has no political balls. No political instinct. No intellectual compass. No political power and no political influence.

JC....its time to roll up the welcome mat....we've seen our last Presidential candidate visit....we've been forgotten and our glory days are in the past.

Thanks Carl.... thanks Jerry.... you've left us as starving orphans in the land of political milk and honey.
