Sandra Cunningham Endorses Willie Flood for Mayor of Jersey City

Willie Flood was more than just an aide to Mayor Glenn Cunningham; she was a friend. Together they shared the same vision for Jersey City: a better quality of life for all its people.

As Glenn Cunningham did, Willie Flood has spent a lifetime serving the people of Jersey City. For the last ten years she has been a Board of Education member, fighting for our children, because she believes that education is the key to a brighter future. And as Glenn Cunningham served, Willie Flood served on the Jersey City Council, where she worked hard to improve life in the City she loves.

On the County level, Willie Flood was the Director of the Office on Aging and Director of Consumer Affairs. In Jersey City she was the Coordinator of School Desegregation for the school district, an assistant principal and an elementary school teacher for 16 years. No one is more qualified or dedicated to continuing the legacy of Glenn Cunningham than Willie Flood.

As Mayor, Willie Flood will fight for the same issues and programs Glenn Cunningham believed in continuing his legacy of a better Jersey City.
